Hi Daren, nice capture Great focus on the subject and the soft background works very well. My only criticism would be that the bird looks to be sleepy and I think you could get away with brightening this shot even more. Good seeing a lot of new stuff. Cheers Nova :)

Nova you're a star boss. Please feel free to show what you mean re: brightening it. Is it best to play with the levels or just go brightness straight off. Yep new lens has burst onto my lifes stage :-)

Hey D,I sharpened, then raised the lightness level a little and the saturation a little. Both located under the Adjust/Hue Saturation! I think it's better but maybe thats just me. What do you think? Rgds ;)

Ta Nova. Adjusted it a bit like you said. I've never used sharpening before. I agree with you as it does look better now. :-)

Hi bud, ahh ok yea shapening was most of the problem anyway I think. Just a little heads up incase you don't know. Right after you use the sharpening effect, you can look under edit/decrease sharpening for a slider which allows you to take down the sharpening if it's to high and distorting. It's only availible right after you sharpen though! Once you use or click anything else you lose the ability to do that. :)
