i love old structures like this... oh so many ways I could photograph it! what you did here is effective, although i wish I could see the ground on the right hand side. As for the sky, I don't think your change helps or hurts, since the bridge is the more powerful element. Of course I'd need to see the original to say for sure.

I don't think that sky works with this photo. Great composition of an interesting structure however. I gave 5/6, but it would be an easy 6/6 with a more fitting sky.
