This flower was shot in three seperate frames and then printed with a large negative holder in the enlarger. This allowed three frames from the negatives to print as one image. The split in the flower is actually the seperation of frames.

cool idea, but not sure the horizontal orientation does you any favors. try same shot with the blossom breaking across frames--that will balance the image better and create more visual interest.
