I couldn't have shown more of the reflection as there were too many

leaves floating on the water.

I like it.

 

Too boring? Nope. Simple is better.

 

You have a house, a bridge, a creek and autumn leaves. It all blends really well.

 

Only criticism is that the house looks crowded, just a bit. Maybe zoom out a bit.

I like this photo. I didn't think it was boring at all. You might try doing the same bridge from an angle and see how it comes out, but this is a good shot. Lorraine Foster

sorry to disagree with the rest but your instinct was correct, it is boring and sterile. Why not put something/someone on the bridge, a boat, a bird, ANYTHING. Anyway, photo.net usually likes this kind of pictures.

Not boring, but the relatively bright sky draws the eye away from the scene. Perhaps if you cropped it so none of the sky shows?

Unless the scan was bad (which is quite possible!). The image seems to be underexposed. However, I have to say that your aesthetic sense is very good to not only capture what is essential, but also, keep it clean. The only other thing is that the reflection is getting cropped and I am not sure how to fix that AND have the fall colors show.
