mark_mankey 0 Posted May 11, 2005 This is one of those photos that I think if it was taken just a little bit later wouldnt be nearly as nice as it is. Great shot. Link to comment
lucian1 0 Posted May 12, 2005 The foreground - background play is promissing but if I examine it closer I feel that there is nothing in the background to balance the strong foreground. Other than that I like the lighting, colors and the sharpness. Link to comment
alberto.prt 0 Posted May 12, 2005 Great depth and great light (but the foreground seems a bit to much out of focus). Congratulation, a very good shot. By the way, where is thi wonderful place?? Regards Alberto Link to comment
bob_mulvey 0 Posted May 12, 2005 Alberto, It looks like Birling Gap near Eastbourne in East Sussex. Link to comment
berkshire-wedding-photogra 0 Posted May 12, 2005 I like the foreground, but there appears to be too much of it & the lack of a object which stands out confuses the eye. The cliffs are well exposed, but the sky shows very obvious use of an ND Grad. Some people find this appealing, but I personally think the effect is overdone in this case. Finally, it is a little weird to have a seascape without a good view of the sea itself. You were unfortunate in the fact that you were shooting at low tide. I took this shot from exactly the same place looking the other way (but at high tide) and got a better beach: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3175047 Shame I too somewhat messed-up my foreground subject!!! rafal_kirstein 0 Posted May 12, 2005 Thanks for all your comments. And this picture was indeed taken near Eastbourne. Somewhere between Beachy Head and Seven Sisters. Link to comment
