Profiling

This is a great shot. Color toning and composition are fantastic. The angle that draws the eye to the model's open-smile mouth and closed eyes is emotionally magnetic. I think I'd also love it as a facial close-up, but then the negative space of the original magically adds weight and emphasis. This one is special.

I thought about presenting this as a close up but her tilted shoulder (her pose) was dramatic and I thought it would be best to leave it as is.

You made the right decision.

Excellent portrait; The mood (pose) of the model is really different here and perfectly caught. Nice composition and tone too. But I like the most the softness you have added to this image by PS.
