Hey man, that's a really nice photo, but I think you should maybe try some longer exposures for star trails (try four hours if you can! you'll get some amazing colours in the sky,if you use the right film, in this one it looks like it's starting to go green) and also I think maybe the flash is a tad too bright on the rock closest to you. I like it when star trail landscapes look like the day time, but in this it's maybe a bit too obvious (especially with the shadows in the backround). so maybe you might try doing multiple flashes on each rock, so you get an even balance... have fun! i think night photography is the most rewarding, when it goes well. regards N
