This really is winnier for me its an image that would hold the interest of any judge even if it was the 1st of many they had to view well done useing colour and not b/w gave it that extra impact well done!!!

Great and forceful image, Katya. New rules prevent me from rating it as I would like to (thanks to your previous generosity with some of mine, which I thank).

I would, however, comment that a shallower DOF would enhance the portrait since, IMHO, her attire makes unnecesary the context background that, somewhat and slightly, distracts.

The crop of her head is appropriate.

This photo makes you think that the old saying "a photo worths more than a thousand words" is not always true. Perhaps not a perfect composition but this photo goes far way than technical details.

outstanding. great shot. it's hard to stop studying this shot.
