I would value your opinion as to this low light photograph.

really appeals to be, I love these old looking, noisy, bleak shots. Texture on the water is good and I like the gradient in the sky.

It works, Bleak, loney, and isolated.

Sorry, but this really doesen't work for me. Surely you are aware that there is better quality film out there? I guess that is just my opinion, but this is rather far below average.

I was wondering why you think that ILFORD 3200 ISO B&W film is a poor quality film? Perhaphs my photograph is of poor quality, but surely not the film? Don't you think that it is one of the best high speed B&W films on the market?

Hello Nick, this is a nice, balanced image. I like the grain and you have clearly acheived good results under difficult light.

 

As a matter of interest, this is similar in style to some of the BW prints hanging in the offices where I work.
