peterbphoto 0 Posted May 6, 2005 I like it! The blue background against the yellow flower makes it very nice, but it would be a little better with more DOF cause i think the back of the flower is too blurry. Link to comment
jim.henderson 1 Posted May 6, 2005 I like both the simplicity and the colours here. I'd have been evenmore impressed with a little more DOF. Link to comment
gary_barsomian_dietrich 0 Posted May 7, 2005 Very nice shot with respect to composition, control of depth. Daffodils are very deep for this close a composition, and more depth is technically impossible. The art in this type of shot is in selection of the plane of focus in the composition-again very nice. gaetanchevalier 5 Posted May 14, 2005 You said to me : 'I used macro setting on this one and the F-value is 3.5. the shutterspeed is 1/100. If I got this right you mean I should use for ex. 5.6 F- value and a faster shutterspeed? Thanks for your comments'. To get F 5.6 (the highter value is better) you must have more light and choose a shutterspeed that you will not get a blurry image (1/100 is a very good value). You must use Macro setting and try to not have the full zoom (stay in the middle of the zoom and get the closer your camera can take). To get best macro shot, you must often take a manual focus not an auto focus. Hope this help. Link to comment
kenten 0 Posted May 14, 2005 On the A2 I have got macro at full or none zoom. I?ve ordered a Dynax 7D and with that a Tamron 90/2.8 macro. I will try that one out and see what results I get then. Link to comment
