dtrust 0 Posted October 22, 2001 I really like this, and wondered what others thought of it. It's one of the first couple dozen pics taken with my new Canon G1. The sky cooperated with me for once :-) Link to comment

jeff l. 0 Posted October 22, 2001 I like the contrast between the trees and the sky. Color is excellent. Link to comment
leif_rudd 0 Posted October 22, 2001 i've seen dozens of shots like this one, especially with aspen; this one, however, gets higher marks from me. i wasn't aware until i saw your image, how the sense of height is accentuated when there's a little breathing room between you and the trees, laterally (meaning, not right next to you on the ground). i think this is quite well done. dtrust 0 Posted October 22, 2001 Thanks for the kind comments, everyone. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who likes it. I can take credit for the composition, but the exposure credit goes to the G1. :-) Don Link to comment
daniel_rice 0 Posted November 5, 2001 The sky looks grey, not blue. Nothing in this photo looks very special. The sky grey or blue adds nothing to the image and the composition is boring. Link to comment
patrick_michel_dagenais 0 Posted November 8, 2001 I look at this picture, and not only do I see trees, I see an intricate system of veins and nerves. I'm probably alone on this one, but it looks like this picture actually shows two different images. I love it. Link to comment
dan_osterberg 0 Posted November 15, 2001 This is an interesting and pleasing photo. Not very original, but good exposure and rather fascinating to look at. I'd however personally have liked to seen a much tighter cropping, because I find the treetops near the borders disturbing. I think the photo would be a lot more effective that way. Link to comment
