I like bugs but this one freaked me out once I saw it enlarged. The

juices on the forepaws, humongous fangs... The spider itself is

only as large as a thumbnail.

Good color and good sharp macro. I ussually do not like to crop out parts as in the legs but I like the perspective.

Thanks for your comments. Russell, only top and bottom portions of the shot were cropped--it is full-frame in the horizontal dimension. I was focusing on the face and when legs are incorporated, the face gets smaller. I have a few shots taken in the landscape orientation and that way I could not get the face--the wall was too close. The critter was backing off and kept on hiding itself with the left front leg.
