Reminds me of a Tommy Hilfiger or Ralph Lauren ad. Could use some color correction in Photoshop though. The ranch hand looks like she's been drinking for all her life and is now dying of liver cirrhosis, i.e., get rid of the yellow in her skin.

The colors are amazing. The image ahs a warm tone to it. The colors are vibrant and defined very well. I h=gave it a 10-10. Great Job. Will you take the time to critique some of my photos. Thanks. My Photos

I took this photo during a travel photography workshop in Santa

Fe, New Mexico. The light had been flat most of the day and then

suddenly the sun broke through the clouds. You should have

seen everyone going for their gear!

This is truly a gorgeous photo. The color is near perfect, the lighting is beautiful, the pose ofthe horse and rider are great. But you cut the horses front feet off :( Great pic though. good work.

Great photograph brought to life by all that warm warm lighting amid a storm. It's just a pity you couldn't have stepped back a little to include all four feet on the horse. May be you'd have trodden on someone's elses feet doing that though? Any 81 series filters used here?

this phenomenon is referred to as squall light.

your photograph is nice. However, where this type of light is absolutely gorgeous is in black and white photogaphs where you have white buildings against that dark sky. Your photograph looks a little blurry to me. Kevin

Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment. I do agree on the composition; I wish I had lowered the camera to include the hooves and moved to the left a bit to include the other rider. Oh well. On a techincal note: the light WAS that spectacular, but I did use a Lumiquest pocket bouncer with gold reflector on the foreground subject at about -2 stops on the flash.

Beautiful picture, pity the legs are missing. I don't agree with your opinion about the other rider. I would have liked it more without a second horse/rider. But, as said, quite a spectacular portrait. Bye, Rienk
