In addition to the impressive game of lights and shadows, I like the way the strong diagonal (and the road) lead to the house, and the way this stands against the dark background. In addition, there is another strong line leading there, along the trees on the ridge, so that all the shot is nicely assembled along a Z. This is quite balanced to me.

Superb light and great composition
