A stark contrast to the photos of Nicole and your unnamed first nude. I'm not sure I like the result: her facial expression make it seem somewhat vulgar or crude.

I wouldn't call this my best but there's something about htis I

like. I think the face came out pretty nice considering I was using

on camera flash. Curious what others think.

I love this! I wouldn't classify it as Fine Art but certainly quality work. I just wish I could find a model like her to work with.

While I probably shouldn't comment on the model, herself, I can't help but say that I find her appearance distracting; it makes me want to see a message in the image about how science and technology can, at times, disfigure nature's beauty. I doubt that's what you intended and more than likely is simply my own neurotic ramblings. :) Nevertheless, I was hoping to give you honest feedback. Furthermore, I'm distracted by the model's shadow on the background, and by the stark portrayal of her pose, which seems more intent on eliciting a specific type of response than in describing any inherent truth in the model/scene. Granted, I'm just as guilty of this sort of thing, myself, so I'm not pointing any fingers. I guess I'm on a bit of a rant. Sorry about that. :) And now I realize your work did, indeed, have a beneficial effect (at least on me) since it engendered thought/conflict, even if that process was entirely within my own head. Maybe I need a nap.... Thanks for putting up with this and for sharing your wonderful work.

Very seductive, intriguing countenance, and unusual lighting choice in the background. The model is perhaps too artificial looking, but that may be what you are trying to convey. Great image!

You know I really like the comments about the model looking artificial. This is a great model, very professional and poses well but this was shot at a workshop with a whole bunch of other photographers shooting her at the same time.

Like I said in my photo critique post.... I don't consider this one of my greatest images and the reason is that while it's a photo of a beautiful model and technically correct it lacks the emotional content that I usually get from one on one shoots. Especially ones where I'm working with less experienced models.

Don't let this photo judge her modelling ability she works great in workshop environments and on one on one shoots. I don't work my best unless it's more intimate. For more info on her go to http://www.lauriewallace.com I have better pics of her but my scanner is broken and I like the message this sends me about my work.

Hey Tom,

I like this shot from the nipples up and left of her left arm.

Without the distractions of her obvious assets one is left with quite a neat head shot... a bit coy, neat thing going on with her hair and right eye.

The rest of the shot seems stark, artificial...

Thanks for sharing.

You can find thousands of similar pictures on Usenet. Thic pic could illustrate an article on why no great photos come out of workshops. You've done MUCH better. Just a question: why did you use flash is you used P3200? You could have done without it, I guess.

Nice pic, and nice model, but this showed up on the main photo.net page. Guess this is the end of photo.net from work for a lot of people.

"Guess this is the end of photo.net from work for a lot of people. "

I wouldn't call this the end since this isn't the first nude pic that's been on the photo.net homepage. Since it seems to be somewhat randomly selected I have no say in the matter.

That girl is sassy, and you caught it. Great job, and rapport with the model.

Love the feel of this folder, b/w grainy images really do it for me.

Best,

James

I find this shot disturbing. Why? Because this is a dyed blond with a Brazilian wax job and what appears to be silicon tits. I can't get past that to look at it as a photo. She's just so artificial!

so why is it still posted?

Jasmine, when someone takes the time to comment on one of my images I find it rude to delete it unless there are other circumstances.

The fact that this is rated so high while what I consider better images of mine are rated lower reminds me to keep these little numbers people hand out in perspective. I think the face came out well though and until I recently posted the other one of her this was the only playboy model I had posted here :)

Here's the other one of her

How is this different from something one might see in a dime-a-dozen porn magazine? I gave it a 1 for originality because it is not at all original. What was your inspiration for this, late night cable?

I like the way you have handled all the photographs in this folder. This one is a perfect response to what you (we) were looking at: Harsh,

rough, sexy, too much for some folks yes, It's

just on the edge enough that it's not comfortable to look at....Love it.......Pair of 8's
