christian.s.mendes 0 Posted May 4, 2005 I fell the idea is show the little curves of the dunes. The problem is the position of the sun and the lack of shadows. You had a good composition but the same photo in the beginning or end of the day would have better results. Link to comment
thwong 0 Posted May 4, 2005 Nice composition although the sand lines lack contrast. This photo may look better without colour Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted May 4, 2005 I would be very hesitant to adjust the "contrast" on the dunes. The highlight levels are perfectly fine, it's the midtones and shadow tones that need to be reduced to give it some depth. Great sky, love the light. Overall, it's a very good composition. It would work in 5x7 or 8x10 dimensions for ready made frames, too. I don't know if this would work as well in BW. The plant might be too tonally similar. Here, there is the addition of green to make it stand out more. Link to comment
mervar 0 Posted May 4, 2005 Thank's for comments. I tried in B&W, but it didn't work well, because of the plant. I like the idea of 5x7 or 8x10 dimensions. Link to comment
ell 0 Posted October 1, 2005 Like the composition and think it's a good clean poster shot. Link to comment
