2Oceans 224 Posted May 4, 2005 Jason, Wonderful use of hands. The back ground is mildly distracting but not enough to detract from the moment. All the best. Andy Link to comment

joe604 0 Posted May 16, 2005 Jason, this is a great shot because of the story the hands tell -- the adult hands guiding the young hands cradling the fragile bird. The marvelous use of the hands deserves a 7 for originality. The Supporting features of this image are the composition with the adult fingers leading the eye to the bird, excellent framing of the event, and natural hues. The soft lighting is good. The DOF is good although the focus is slightly soft on the bird and it would be better if you blurred the background further. Nevertheless, this shot is truly outstanding just as it is. Congratulations. --Joe Link to comment

tomin8r 0 Posted June 22, 2006 Hi Jason. This is a great shot -- best enjoyed in large display. My only suggestion is to frame it in photoshop as you've done with a lot of your other shots and add a meaningful caption to it. That would truly finish the photo. The hummingbirds here in Northern Ontario are leery of going to the feeder with someone on the deck.. I can't imagine holding one! Once again, great shot! Tom Link to comment
