greg neils 0 Posted August 22, 2009 If I understand correctly, you were on-site 2 hours early to capture the moon and then stayed in place to capture the fisherman. If so, to me, this makes it a "real photograph". It's just as real as 5 merged photos of a baseball pitcher throwing a fast ball, to show his speed and motion. I also like the framing. I don't believe that every photograph must be "properly" balanced between the left and right side, or top and bottom. I like the framing and I wouldn't change the moon at all. I might have captured more of the top of the landscape and less of the water, giving the moon just a touch more room. Link to comment
basil g 0 Posted August 23, 2009 Thank you Greg. Actually, I always feel unconfortable and ready to be beaten by public for such things. But still, I do it, as consider myself a bit of an artist, not just a mere "honest" photogrpher :)) Still I do always try to add no objects to a scene that do not belong there. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted November 9, 2012 Wonderful photograph, but ruined by the moon. You had it, then lost it. Link to comment
