Yes, definitely refreshed! :-) I love the detail you got in the droplets, and the DOF is perfect. I also like the lack of distrating colors in the background. Nice!!!

I like the metallic area you focused on.

Is the shallow DOF an experiment. Coz IMO a sharper one would be better probably, even though that'd be cliched and conservative. Some things are better the traditional way. Just my opinion. Regards.

Ok. Janet, I think there is no problem for DOF, this pic is showing the place where in phtographer focus, not the lens.

Very good shot! I disagree with the other comments. I think the DOF is just perfect, it draws the attention to the fine details and the droplets on the petal. More depth would make this a more conventional shot.

Very good! Excellent control of DOP. Would be a good first photo for a series demonstrating the effect of appature on focal depth.
