aepelbacher 0 Posted May 1, 2005 Yes, definitely refreshed! :-) I love the detail you got in the droplets, and the DOF is perfect. I also like the lack of distrating colors in the background. Nice!!!By the way, thank you for your suggestion on the image I just uploaded. I've already made the change!! What do you think? Regards! Link to comment
pdb 0 Posted May 1, 2005 I somehow wish it had slightly more DOP (possibly include the centre leaf?), but still a beautiful pic! Link to comment
nabs 0 Posted May 1, 2005 Is the shallow DOF an experiment. Coz IMO a sharper one would be better probably, even though that'd be cliched and conservative. Some things are better the traditional way. Just my opinion. Regards. Link to comment
janetlee 0 Posted May 1, 2005 Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I'll give the larger DOF a shot next time. :-) Link to comment
majid1 2 Posted May 1, 2005 Ok. Janet, I think there is no problem for DOF, this pic is showing the place where in phtographer focus, not the lens. Link to comment
dk. 0 Posted May 1, 2005 Very Nice Janet, I love the colours and water drops, I think I would like more DOF too but it is still very nice. Take care. DK. Link to comment
janpeter 0 Posted May 3, 2005 Very good shot! I disagree with the other comments. I think the DOF is just perfect, it draws the attention to the fine details and the droplets on the petal. More depth would make this a more conventional shot. Link to comment
v 0 Posted May 4, 2005 Superb, I admire the level of detail and the quality of your finishing touch. Link to comment
hexenwolfe 0 Posted May 4, 2005 Very good! Excellent control of DOP. Would be a good first photo for a series demonstrating the effect of appature on focal depth. Link to comment
