dennisbarnett 0 Posted May 1, 2005 I like this, and would like it alot more if the yellow and white of the flower were sharper. Link to comment
janetlee 0 Posted May 1, 2005 Thanks, Dennis. I was focusing on the raindrops and used a 2.8 f stop to blur the background which also blurred the flower some. I appreciate your feedback. :-) Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted May 1, 2005 This is interesting and pretty, but at some expense to overall composition, I think. Link to comment
hiroya 0 Posted May 2, 2005 This is beautiful, also interesting titled. Sometimes waterdrops look like bubbles in the boild water indeed. Thank you for you comment on my flower photo. Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted May 2, 2005 I like the way you designed this--leading from the lower right to the subject. It would have been interesting to see this with the water droplets in the lower left corner in sharp focus too. You could have tried to turn the camera to the left a bit to place the plane of focus across both sets of droplets, while maintaining the same basic composition. Of course by then the droplets probably would have fallen :o) Link to comment
janetlee 0 Posted May 2, 2005 Your suggestion is a good one, David, but frankly I'm lucky to have gotten this shot. It was nearly dark, sprinkling and I had to get into a very low position. We photographers have to be somewhat flexible. Don't we? :-)I'll keep it mind for next time..... Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted May 3, 2005 Been there too.... my neighbors must laugh when I'm lieing flat on the ground in the mud taking pictures in the rain. Of course a little spray bottle on a calm morning or night goes a long way ;o) Link to comment
