I just got an 8" Meade S-C 2000mm and a FinePix S3 Pro. You mentioned to someone about shooting Jupiter with at least a 12" scope. I'm hoping the 12mgpxl S3 will make up some difference. I am very excited and pictures such as this are making me impatient to "get it together." Thank you for sharing.

Koen, was there any particular reason that you used a red filter here?  It is still a very good shot, of course, but my own preference would be to use filters that bring in other frequencies--and, I think, more overall detail.
