mikesoliman 0 Posted April 25, 2005 This is my first attempt at shooting long exposure shots at twilight. I was fascinated by a lot of the photos I've seen where the water looks like fog or clouds. I didn't have a ND filter so I just waited until a bit after twilight to start taking photos. Do any of you experts out there have any advice as to time of day, equipment to use, general technique? Advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time! Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted April 25, 2005 Of the two you posted I think this one is the best. I like it. 6/5 Link to comment
maarten 0 Posted April 25, 2005 ... you still need advice. Two very good pictures. Maarten Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted April 25, 2005 I just too a look at this again. I think you should crop the top just below the horizon line. I positioned it that way on my monitor and eliminating the land makes for a better image. Link to comment
mikesoliman 0 Posted April 25, 2005 I was wondering whether to crop out the horizon when I was composing the shot. Part of me felt like the horizon should be there to give a sense of depth, but another part of me found it distracting. Thanks for the feedback! Link to comment
