Joel, when this was taken, this area was a great place to photograph, now it's covered with tall weeds and small trees. Thanks....Jim

Hello Eiddwen, Let me welcome you to Photo Net, many great photographers on here. Just about any type photo interest too. You should not have one bit of trouble finding the answers to any question that comes to your mind. Gee,your first day on here and you look at some of my stuff, that makes me feel good all over.....As to the tracks, don't really know but thought the small ones were a cator a small dog and the larger ones were from a larger dog. Was shot on b+w film about 30 years ago, never shot in color....Hope you get that camera you are wanting.....Be glad to correspond with you via email.....Jim

thanks for the kind words Jim.....I am just getting the hang of this site, there is soooo much to take in, will probably take a while before i even know how to correspond by e mail, but i will get there in the end though (thanks for the offer). Anyway i am really enjoying looking at the different photos on here and my pictures simply(not many I add, until i subscribe) pale in comparison.

thanks again

I love the composition and especially the contrast between the sky and the snow. Great work!

Hello Rafael, thanks for commenting. At the time I posted this, my PC skills didn't allow me to do the original wet process print justice....Perhaps I should try again soon.....Jim

i like the feigned(?) simplicity of your photograph

and the nice grain of course ;)

Ian, Thanks taking notice of this shot. This is a flatbed scan of an original silver gelatine print, nothing was removed from the print. I did not at the time have any software to edit with, if I were able to at the time, I would probably clone out that tree shadow. This was shot in the '70s.....All the best .....Jim

Ian, Today this little scene is somewhat over grown with weeds and small trees. If you care to see what it looks like now, check in my portfolio in the Digital infra red group, it's called(Same little Road as in'Frost and Snow')......Jim
