These bees, as their name suggests, tend to nest under large stones.

The workers have the same colouring as the queen, but they are much

smaller.They have comparatively short tongues and prefer flowers that

form a distinct landing platform, such as daisies, dandelions and

thistles.

I appreciate any critique.

Amazing details! Too bad the legs and wings are cropped, but still.. a good shot. Funny, hairy creature!

Great macro. The apeareance of wing almost like metal is stunning. Clear, sharp and full of details, all that a good macro photo must have. Good work.
