East of the Sunrise

Actually just before sunrise... and the true sunrise was probably

about 50 or 60 degrees to the left of this shot. Fairly long

exposure on a cheap cheap tripod (this was the only long exposed

shot out of 5 or 6 that I took on this tripod that was even in

focus. Colors are natural and no editing except a slight crop of

the bottom where there was a distracting porchlight. If you enlarge

the picture and look really close at the center... I think I got a

UFO (GRIN) it is on the negative too... must have been some dust

somewhere... or... you never know.

I'll be posting some moon-shots that I took with my 2000mm setup

(500mm mirror lens + 2 2X converters) hopefully here in the next few

days if they come out okay. At 2000mm the moon nearly fills the

entire frame.
