The old and the new work very well here. I love the drab, organic colours of the ancient skates when compared to the vibrant artificial colours of the modern skis.

I tried a different approach to the digital "development" stage for this one. I seperated it into a b&w and a (washed-out) color image. I adjusted the levels and curve on the b&w version and did test prints until I was happy with the result, then adjusted the color image until I was happy with the colors, then blended the two together. I've been trying to teach myself zone-system for b&w prints and this allowed me to concentrate my mind.
