I dont know that I have seen the original version (will have to go look for it) The captured rays are like a spot like on the front lower left- really like that touch. Awesome colors and flare. I would like to be able to read the sign posted on the tree.

Knicki, the sign reads "Propriete Privee" [Private Property]. It is visible in the large version, but being French speaking help decipher it I guess.

Bonjour Stephane, Je parle la langue... pas tres bien... mais je comprend mieux....

Two things attracted my attention, the turquoise color of the sun rays( not yellow..) and the sign. Well the sign I understood..composition is nice I like the " silence" it radiates in its nice muted colors as well.

Thanks Pnina for the comment! And for the word in my language.

The sun's ray were what attracted my eye here. It's the same time of the year again. I really think I will try to find this place again this year. Or something like it. Just have to kick me at the right place these days as I'm not too much into photo.

On another note, I find it special how a really old photo starts to attract comments again. Kind of remind me that my newer "junk" was shadowing my old stuff. Now that I removed a lot, my better one get more visibility!

I agree about revisiting old pictures. Sometimes you find an image that you just hadn't noticed before or are able to edit it in a new way that brings it to the next level! That's what's nice about digital, it's easy to go back at any time. Nice shot!
