This is a shot of the Golden Gate Bridge from the Marin Headlands. I

used a cross screen filter.

 

Any comments / critique appreciated.

I'm not sure what you mean by pushy, but I think I agree. This was my first experiment with the cross screen filter, and I'm not sure that I like it. I wanted a slight star effect on the lights, but this is too much. I guess I need a shorter exposure time for that. Although, the photo below was taken with a 3 second shutter, and I don't see a whole lot of difference in the size of the star.

I like the star effect. It lends originality to a subject that is photographed so much. Good work.
