i appreciate your comments 0 Posted April 16, 2005 Please tell me how to improve my photograhy. Don't hold back. I want to know what you really think. I took this shot from the back seat of the car as it was driving. It gave it a nice sense of movement, do you agree? Anyway please tell me how you would have done it better thanks. Link to comment
minicucci 0 Posted April 17, 2005 Kirk: I have some post processing suggestions but this is a fabulous capture. Very dynamic. On many levels, the image works. The high head of the near most horse is just terrific. The editing suggestions: 1. the shot is too dark and maybe too contrasty. You are losing good detail in the wagon's couple, some of the horses and part of the background. 2. The present crop leaves in a bit of the rear tire on the wagon, leaving the image a little unbalanced. FWIW, attached is an illustrative revised crop, cutting out that rear tire and a little on the right and immediate foreground to rebalance the shot. EV values are upped and contrast lowered a bit. I also lightened the toning a bit because I thought it contributed to the sense of being too dark. Notwithstanding my suggestions, it's a good shot. Nice work! Link to comment
pampolin 1 Posted April 18, 2005 I like the action, movement and sephia, but, I would like to see a better resolution and I think this crop on back wheel is not so good. Or you show the wheel or not Link to comment
