deb1 0 Posted May 28, 2009 I don't think I ever told you this... when I first came to photo.net this was one of the first images I saw and it took my breath away with it's sharpness and overall beauty. I thought to myself..."if I could only capture images such as this". Jim, you inspired me then and you still inspire me to keep moving forward to acheive a flawless image such as this! deb Link to comment

alessio_matteucci 0 Posted August 21, 2009 I don't understand why this shot is in Architecture. In my opinion is a classic composition. I don't like the left side of the picture...you have to cut a little. regards. Alessio Link to comment
mike-bergeron 0 Posted December 18, 2009 GREAT capture! The composition is very nice with framing provided by the branch and the fence. Also a excellent exposure for to take advantage of the overcast rather than it becoming an enemy. Well done Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 22, 2010 Wow 300,000+ views! Awesome! How was that accomplished?? The image seems slightly skewed but, for the life of me, I can't see where. I think it may be in comparing it with your other shot of the mill . Lovely spot. Link to comment
doug_gentry 0 Posted August 30, 2010 Fantastic Jim! It's all been said above! I'll just say thanks for the inspiration! Cheers, Doug! Link to comment
johnborg 0 Posted September 1, 2010 Congratulations Jim for such a beautiful image. I like the atmospheric perspective created by the fog. The branch framing the mill completes the perfect compostion. Thanks for viewing my picture, which led me here. Best regards . . John Link to comment
alight 0 Posted October 14, 2010 this is such a nice homey image. I would call it "comforable". Very nice composition that has all the bases (FG, MG, BG, top, bottom) covered, and all of it purrs in harmony. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
rod_melotte 0 Posted February 6, 2011 Wonderful shot but I would clean it up a little - the white floating blob and the sign and that odd reddish standing man? reflection. I love the softness. Link to comment
anthonybunzola 0 Posted February 27, 2011 I used to live in Ohio, I remember a scene like this. BEAUTIFUL MB Link to comment
murat_nazarov 0 Posted January 26, 2012 I wonder if you missed to clone out the reflection of some red/while pole. Otherwise, it is great one. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted June 15, 2016 Again, I regret to say that I found out yesterday that Jim died in August, 2015. [LINK] --Lannie Link to comment
