david choo 0 Posted April 14, 2005 During my many trips to Death Valley, I often felt as if in another world. I have recently began an attempt at photographing it as such. When I took this picture, I realized it might not be well received by others... but I photographed it according to what I had envisioned in my mind so that I might remember how I feel when walking on the salty earth of Badwater. The Panamint mountains were beautifully lit by the morning sun while the salty foreground had yet to see the light of day... Link to comment
david robinson 0 Posted April 14, 2005 I would have consider a crop just below where the water starts on the bottem left. I think that would have made the composition stronger. But I like this very much. Outstanding. Link to comment
calee allen 0 Posted April 14, 2005 This is an attractive composisition. The foreground seems a bit dark. Link to comment
afs760bf 0 Posted April 14, 2005 I normally would say that the dark foreground doesn't add much, but in this case it continues out to the point and divides the reflection. Nice touch, if still a little dark for me. Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted April 14, 2005 A touch dark for me too. I like Davids Crop suggestion. Overall a strong image though. Link to comment
