Meat and Flowers

Feedback? I did several different light setups and may submit

alternatives.

I like the positioning and the flowers are great. I would prefer if the meat looked a little more "done." Maybe a few braze marks? Pretty original, though.

Actually raw meat was a common subject for 18th century still-lifes. Now that it's a readily available commodity it's no longer such an object of envy that people would hang it on their walls.

I prefer the other set up, and think that a plain white plate would have helped.

Interesting composition and good placement of the objects. The light at the front of the meat could be a little softer imo. 5/6
