If the child face down is the center of interest, then the subject is out of focus. It also has compositional difficulties, and classic flash fall off.

Yes the focus is a tad soft, but not as soft as it appears in this compressed version.

 

Wow, I must be getting good! I can achieve a classic flash fall off effect without using a flash! ;) Stage lights were the source of all light in this pic, hence the dark background.
