Naptime

I think this image deserves more than just the word "cute" applied to it in a critique. Of course it's cute. It's also an outstanding color capture.

Animals have been used as metaphors in art ever since humans began scribbling on cave walls. I like the sense of tranquility and peace portrayed in this image...two things humans are so often unable to achieve.

My only issue here is the use of the frame. It confines the subject and the space, contributes nothing to the image, and gives the image a somewhat generic poster-in-a-mall-shop look. Anyone can create frames and borders in Photoshop, but not everyone can capture an image this well. The image is still 7/7 for me.
