Good in colour! However, the theme of the picture is not that clear. I would like to compose again by zooming in and forcus on the horse at the centre of the picture.

The way you horizontally positioned the horse is dead on. Centering the horse would have made the composition static. You used the Bakker's Saddle principle. This principle is having the dominant area positioned in the "y" area where the diagonal line is intersected by a perpendicular line from either of the other two corners. (It is much better illustrated than described.)

The only thing I would consider is eliminating the bottom half of the image in favor of a tighter crop. Some burning in of the corners and bottom of that cropping would be in order.

Very nice image!

Michael, if you scroll the image down you see what I meen. I would crop the bottom. The horse is fine where it is, a little off center. This is jus my honest opinion. Kind regards, Baldur

Howard, Brian, Hulki, Baldur and Steve, thank you very much for your constructive critique. Yes, I can very well see the possibilities in cropping from the bottom. It would bring the horse more clearly in focus of interest. However, the horse was not intended to be the main subject although not unimportant. My intension was to show a part of a landscape with a unreal or fairytail-like touch, where the water stream, bridge, colour saturated green grass, naked birch tree and shrubbery and the horse all play their part. After all maybe just a matter of taste. Thanks again for your kind interest, Michael
