nicholasprice 0 Posted April 11, 2005 This ancient mosque dates from the Turkish occupation of Crete. It is a splendid squatt structure, which dominates the harbour of this wonderful little city on the Greek island of Crete. Any comments, suggestions or critiques are most welcome - thanks, Nick. nicholasprice 0 Posted April 12, 2005 Thanks Denis. Thanks Vasilis. I know what you mean, this is little more than a holiday snap, but I thought it quite a pleasing one. I thought about Black & White, and as you can see, the mountains come off quite well, but the textures and colours of the town and the lovely pink of the mosque are quite lost! Regards, Nick. cherlyn 1 Posted April 12, 2005 I like the backdrop of snowy mountains & the foreground of mosque & the buzzle of activities alonf the waterfront. Nothing's wrong with holiday snap shots as it keeps one's fond memories. Link to comment
vasilis 0 Posted April 12, 2005 You are right and actually using velvia and then turning to B&w, is kind of ironic. :-) Link to comment
