I am fascinated by water and this frigid river rushing down from Vermont mountains

almost made me feel like I was bodysurfing in the Caribbean.

I like very much your capturing of the power of this natural scene -- although it is a two dimensional and still photograph, your use of the sharp contrasting of the white water with the dark flow beneath especially with the dramatic diagonal line and close cropping make this truly alive and a deeply felt sense experience for us all. Excellent "writing with light."
