beebe 0 Posted April 10, 2005 Very powerful eyes. I would like to see it stopped down. Link to comment
kari_karhu1 0 Posted January 25, 2008 Too much post processing! The face is too symmetric to be real. If you look at the lower eyelashes and the eyebrows, it's quite obvious that the picture is actually a combination of two mirror images of the face and another element covering the veil. Not my favorite style to produce something to show here! Link to comment
mnigro 0 Posted January 25, 2008 I can't see what Kari is talking about. Even if this is a composite it's a striking image of a woman with a beautiful set of eyes. It presents much to think about. I'm really bothered by posts to this site that dis post-processing of photographic images. Computers give us the opportunity to do things in minutes that took photographers days to accomplish in the darkroom. We see the beautiful images captured by Ansel Adams but few people know he regularly spent days in his darkroom post-processing one image. Were he alive today I'll bet he would be using photoshop with glee. Link to comment
johnson_d. 0 Posted January 25, 2008 Kari is exactly right, this is half a face and it's mirror image. I'm not sure I understand the point. It looks very unnatural and creepy to me. Maybe that's the point? I'd like to see the original. Link to comment
jeff_drew4 1 Posted April 11, 2009 The photo definitely captured my attention and definitely beautiful visage! I think it is overall exhibiting stark sharpness vs smooth or "creamy" beauty which would be more complimentary to the lady. This is not a bad photo, but there is room for debate on its intent, goal etc. Link to comment
