Staircase in the castel tower

Very nice. You captured the texture and nothing is too dark. The light on the stairs might be a little too blown out, but it wasn't the first thing that hit me so I don't think it's all that bad.

Beauty and elegance in a small detail.

Rather unfortunate about that sun spot, but another simple and effective photograph from you.

It is actually 2 pictures of the same motiv, but one is exposed after the sun spot and the courtyard outside, and the other one after the inside wall and the staircase. They are asembeled as layermasks. I can therefor deside exactly how much toning and detail there is in the sunspot. The stange thing is, that if I make it darker with more details, it looks unaturally, wich suprised me a great deal. Must be somthing about what you expect from the dynamic range of the human eye.
