christian deichert 1 Posted April 6, 2005 Love it. Great contrast range and subject. Composition might be a bit centered; perhaps you could crop some from the left side. Link to comment
steve_lowther 0 Posted April 7, 2005 You may have the best composition by centering it, but I would still play around with using the rules of the thirds or Bakker's Saddle to give it more visual dynamics. Link to comment
sampsonphoto 0 Posted April 9, 2005 So, like some others have said, I think using the rule of 1/3rds would help this photo. I also think moving closer/cropping tighter would bring this photo from a nice family snap shot to a classic portrait of Americana... I have taken the liberty of cropping tighter, hope you don't mind. I do like this photo. Cheers Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted April 10, 2005 I would crop slightly, too, Chris - just taking out the bits of branches on the left, along with about 3-4 of the fence boards. Cute photo! Link to comment
nichols 0 Posted April 13, 2005 Ken, I looked at the Ukulele photo first and somehow, I just new that when I clicked on this one, I was going to find my face peeking through the fence....Man, you just made my morning!:) Thanks! Link to comment
