The question if Karen and Bart are still together is answered today. Bart is the manager of the Castlegarden where I saw this bench. A very friendly employee told me today that Karen and Bart are married on 20-4-2004 and that their love is recently crowned with the birth of a healthy baby:)))

What a wonderful story! I look forward to the closer picture of this window with the bottles...You've teased us with two far-away shots so far!

I agree, this is a real love story with a happy end. And the employee was the one who has carved their names in the wood.

Hoi Ellen, ik schaam me diep! Zie opeens dat ik je helemaal over het hoofd heb gezien. Snap het ergens niet want ik dacht toch echt dat ik je had verteld dat ik lekker was wezen schaatsen met mijn kleindochter op mijn verjaardag? Was dan zeker bij een andere foto. Ik wordt oud.... Ja een leuke verjaardag gehad dus, dank je! Mooier kon ik het me niet wensen. Zon, ijs, schaatsen met mijn kleindochter...

 

Ik vind deze foto ook nog steeds leuk vooral omdat er zo'n mooi verhaal aan vast zit; een lovestory met een happy-end! Kom daar nog maar eens om tegenwoordig....

 

Nee, ik dacht echt dat V&D verboden terrein was voor honden maar dat valt heel erg mee dus. Het zal de HEMA zijn waarmee ik in de war ben. Maar ja, die kunnen ook haast niet anders he met die lekkere worstlucht die daar hangt. Dat zou gemeen zijn tegenover die beesten, hoewel het voor een boel mensen ook een marteling is. Het water loopt me altijd in de mond daar maar helaas, ik mag die worst niet:-((
