Not sure how much I like this one. There's something there I think,

but maybe it is too uninteresting? Too much foreground?

 

What do you think?

I don't think it's the foreground that's hurting the image, but rather the blown out sky in the top right part of the picture. The colors in the H2O and the warm side lighting on the sand, bringing out the texture, work well.

Jim, I think it's the foreground that makes it interesting. There's a lot of textures there that break up the monotony. The sky is what's blah in this shot. It's always hard when you take a shot like this without clouds. It just makes for a boring sky and tends to blow out the exposure. My advice would be to crop a bit off the top and convert it to a B&W.
