Very beautiful. The eyes just grab you, and the strand of hair is just right. Also, the color...... how did you do that??? I've tried with no luck for that type of tone in Photoshop with duotones...

answer to your question..

this is not duel tone in PS. .

fan in dark red, skin color in white pale pink, background wall in Pink, so color in same tone. then with PS, adjust contrast , brightness, desatuate quite a bit greatly to create a the automsphere..

Thanks for suggesion.. for the cropping..I also have that kind of thought, but in the end I dare not venture that far.., although your crop is really good.. I will show my wife your cropping to see how she comments.. (my wife is more talanet than me, .. )

Longtang, I've checked your presentation and noticed that you didn't include this one there. I think it's a brilliant shot. I can see you're quite serious in getting constructive critiques. Something very refreshing here on PN. After some head scratching, I still can't come up with any suggestion to make it even better (I might have arranged her hair a little differently). I like the original better than Billiana's crop. It needs that little breathing space. As you know well, for the classical Chinese brush paintings, the white blank space is an important part of the composition, as is the black space here. Is this your daughter?
