Interesting! Even though the outdoor light seems too harsh, the light falling on the subject is very well balanced. I find the door frame behind the subject a bit distracting; I would maybe have the subject closer to the window and frame him tighter. I like this portrait very much.

Lighting is wrapped a little too far to the back of the subject, giving him a "black eye". Geometrics in the background consistent, but do not really contribute to the impact of the image. The key is mixed, and it would have been better to have gone either high key or low key.

Next time try a reflector to kick some light onto the subject's face.
