It Must Be Spring!

One of my first spring flowers in my yard. All comments welcomed.

Great shot! The shallow DOF creates an interesting effect but it is such a rich coloured and detailed flower I think I'd rather have it all in focus.

Your colors are beautiful,isn't nature great with colors?Take this with a grain of salt b/c I am not a very good macro photographer but I wish I could see all the petals and not so tightly cropped...I m sure there is a reason but it's just MHO.

Love the depth of field you've chosen, gives this a little different feel than the usual flower shot. Nice job. 6/6
