worldscapes 0 Posted March 28, 2005 Interesting composition - I probably would have situated the moon more in the top left hand corner. The light is a bit harsh, but the scene presented itself then, didn't it? ;-) Link to comment
christopher_butcher 0 Posted March 29, 2005 definitely would move the bird out from the center the right and bring the moon in more. The color is a bit flat. Probably due to the harsh sun light. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 29, 2005 Well, for one thing, I cannot imagine why anyone would rate this only a 4 for aesthetics. That's just stupid. I like this image, composition wise, just as it is. I like the way my eyes go first to the bird, then follow the branches towards the moon. I like the motion blur of the wings, too. So what if the image isn't tack sharp...it's a bird...it's moving. And who cares about rating numbers, anyway? Excellent job. Link to comment
martinforget 0 Posted April 30, 2005 Your comment made me realy laught Jim. The reason is that I often react the same way. For exemple by looking the ratings for some of your photos. But I realise that the more important is the judgment of people that realy know there thing. And by looking at your portfolio and the comments (and maybe a grade if you ever grade lol) that you give me... is the reason why it is worth it postin on PN. I have a couple of PN "knowledge" that gives me constructive comments here and I realy appreciate. Go see This guy portfolio it's amazing. HAve fun with your work Jim Adams (that one is obvious) ;) Link to comment
