Gorgeous! And I don't think better light would have improved it much. Is this Banff? I wish the weather had been as kind when I was there :) The composition is wonderful - I'd blow this one up and hang it :)

This is in the Kananaskis area about 30 minutes east of Banff. I don't know if you're familiar with the area but it's every bit as pretty as Banff. I'm very lucky to live so close to both. And you're right I think the overcast made the lighting better.

No, I never went east of Banff... spent a week up there, but then went west :) But it's beautiful country - similar, yet distinctly different than Colorado where I live (at the base of the Rockies and Pikes Peak) Again -- beautiful photo :)

I like the way the grays contrast with the orange and green. The composition is nice.
