Shot hand-held, with super-macro mode on a digital point-n-shoot (Hewlett Packard Photosmart R 607). Photoshop b/w color conversion and tinting, dodge-and-burn to enhance the form.

Calla lilies are one of my favorite subjects for macro work, this one

captured just after a morning shower. This is also my first attempt

at framing an image for presentation - comments and suggestions on the

photograph, or the presentation are appreciated.

This one I do like, Doug. Excellent composition of the water drops, and good sharpness in the texture. MUCH more interesting than the full flower portrait (focus on what's unique/unusual/unexpected). Nice work. I think the frame looks great, too.

That this is a hand-held shot with a point-and-shoot is boggling to me. Very well done. Now - how can I get my tripod-mounted 6mp SLR with a $365 macro lens to do this? Jeez.

Even more amazing is that is was taken with an HP camera! I really like the image too - great dof, the drops are brilliantly clear and the eye is immediately attracted to them. great! 6/5

I like it too. Everyone else has talked technical stuff, but my first thought was that this dropletted flower detail hints at the scallop shell of Santiago and all that it signifies. That doesn't make any sense but I thought I would say so anyway.
