From one of my first sessions with Amber

This is one of the best pictures I've seen in a long time. It is not about nudity, you almost don't notice it. But look at the face and composition....

Agree with Gene... It's about the expression, the lightning and the composition. I think this is one of your best, if not the best.

This is one of those rare ones where I'd think about cropping it to hide the nudity. THe top part of the photo is just too strong to have the bottom distracting us.

This is an extremely strong image, and one of your best, in my humble opinion. The lighting, the strong shadows, and the deceptively simple composition all come together in a true-to-life portrait that emphasizes (for me) the mystery and beauty found in all women...and in this young lady, in particular. I can read a thousand thoughts from her expression.

 

Just as an aside, I cannot help but wonder about the identity of the complete and utter fool who would rate this image with a 2/2. Probably one of those parasites who infest this site...too cheap to fork out $25 a year to support the site (approximately 15 cents a day), and who wouldn't know an f-stop from a door stop.

 

It's just beyond my understanding.

John, this is a wonderful photo. As many have expressed, the strongest pull for me is her expression, a certain resignation and vulnerability. Great capture.
